What is Green Printing?
Green Printing is printing with preservation
of our environment in mind. This can mean choosing
chlorine free paper that is made from tree free fiber,
post consumer waste, or a combination of the two. It can
mean choosing ink that uses less nonrenewable resources
and more renewable resources such as soybeans. It can
also mean planning your printing project to use less
paper and produce the least amount of waste possible.
It can also mean using Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)
stocks. Bayside is FSC certified and we can print your
job on paper that has followed a chain of custody from
the forest floor to our shop floor. All sources are from
responsibly maintained forests.
Most
importantly, we have earned Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain-of-Custody
certification, (SW-COC-002888), from the Rainforest Alliance’s SmartWood
Program.

This has great meaning to you… the FSC stock you choose has been harvested responsibly
and tracked from the forest floor to our floor.

these choices for your next printing project. Click
