| File Transfer Instructions |
There are two popular methods of web based file
transfer- attachments to emails, and FTP file transfer software such as Fetch
for the Mac and WSFTP for the PC.
Since we have a file size limit to our email attachments of 5 MB, and
because of potential corruption with graphics files, we would encourage you to
become familiar with and use FTP software to transfer your files.

| If you want a private FTP folder: |
Please call Bayside Printing at 281.209.9500 and
ask for your prepress department so that we can create a secure folder and
assign a username and login.

| If you want to use our public FTP folder: |
Because of internet security concerns, you must
still call Bayside for access to our FTP Site and to receive the default
username and login.

| Settings for using FTP software: |
Host: ftp.baysideprinting.com
Host Type: Auto Detect
User: (call Bayside or use the default login- see above "If you want to
use our public folder")
Password: (call Bayside or use the default login- see above "If you want
to use our public folder")

| Using a browser to transfer files: |
Some browsers (such as Internet Explorer 5.5 and higher) will allow users to
simply go to ftp://ftp.baysideprinting.com
- You will then be prompted for an username and password.
User: (call Bayside or use the default login- see above "If you want to
use our public folder")
Password: (call Bayside or use the default login- see above "If you want
to use our public folder")
If you are unable to login:
You may find that you are unable to login unless you change a "FTP" transfer
setting to "PASSIVE FTP TRANSFER" in your browser/FTP client settings.
In Internet Explorer this setting is under Tools > Internet Options >
Advanced - within the "Browsing" section.
If you are using Internet Explorer on the MAC - you would change your internet
options under Control Panels > Internet > Advanced
In Fetch- this setting is under Customize > Preferences > Firewall
